Kim Kardashian Meets Menendez Brothers with Actor Cooper Koch

Kim Kardashian visited the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego on Saturday. She spoke about prison reform with many inmates, including Lyle and Erik Menendez.

The Menendez brothers shot their parents, Kitty and Jose Menendez, in 1989. They were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

On Friday, Erik criticized “Monsters.” He said the show’s second season shows him and his brother Lyle in a bad light. He believes it harms their reputations.

Menendez expressed sadness in his statement. He believes Ryan Murphy can’t be so naive and wrong about their lives. He thinks there’s bad intent behind it. The statement was shared on his wife Tammi’s X account.

Sevigny shared the difficulties of portraying the Menendez mother, saying it was tough to play an interpretation rather than her true story. Kardashian mentioned she grew up near the case and remembered her dad telling her about it after driving by the house.

When Sevigny was asked if she’d connect with the Menendez brothers, she said it could be risky. She admitted that working on true crime stories can be mentally exhausting because of the responsibility to the victims and everyone involved.
