Calmly, I completed the project at the building site. I’m having lunch with all of my coworkers after working for hours. As we sat close to the yard, I detected a faint sound emanating from the area. I wonder what the sounds might be since I’m curious, but I quickly forget about it while I’m with my coworkers. I decided to follow the sound that had earlier attracted my attention after eating lunch. What I discover—a defenseless dog trapped—shocks me.
While I was observing him from a distance, I realized that there was something around his neck that gave him difficulty moving. Who or what was suffocating his neck? It dawned on me that the dog’s eyes were filled with hurt and hopelessness, and I realized that if I did not assist him as soon as possible, he might not make it through. When I went closer, I noticed that he was wearing a collar made of iron that was quite tight around his neck, and the chain was digging deep into his neck. Without any hesitation, I made it my goal to rescue the dog trapped from this chain securing him to the trap and giving him a chance to live.
My coworkers were also of assistance to me in rescuing the puppy. The scene was so stunning and terrible that it was difficult to understand how he could have survived with this iron chain around his neck. Because the scent in the area where the dog trapped lived was so strong, we could not wait any longer.
If the world is so harsh, how is it possible? A large number of people may have seen him on that iron chain, but no one had come to his aid. Because the dog’s chain was attached to a tree, he was unable to move to seek assistance. The dog’s owner was quite abusive to the animal.
While we were in the process of removing the chain from the tree, we promptly provided the dog with water. Because he was so parched, he drank all of the water that was in the pot at the same time. When it came to him, why was his boss so cruel? There were wounds all over his body, and there were flies all around him. People should treat dogs trapped with love and respect at all times. We cannot treat them with such disdain. We were unable to unhook the chain since it was so deeply embedded in the ground.
Even though the dog was quite intelligent, he followed us without any doubt since he sensed our kindness. Nevertheless, he halted along the route, possibly in the hope that his owner had arrived to retrieve him now. The dog continues to wait for his owner despite everything that has happened, which is an astonishing demonstration of how loyal this creature is. The dog that we loved even more than his previous master continued to receive caressing from me. Because he is so obedient and lovely, it is even more heartwarming to see things like that.
If we were unable to bring him to the hospital as soon as possible, there is a possibility that his neck may sustain irreversible injury. Because of this, we hurried to the hospital, and the dog trapped stayed quiet throughout the entire process. Almost immediately, the physician arrived to check him and get a better understanding of his condition. We requested God, asking for his continued existence. If he did not make it through, we pondered as to how we could ever forgive ourselves. Could you, God, please take action on our behalf?
It was determined by the veterinarian that the dog’s wound was extremely severe and that maggots had developed inside of it. Tears were welling up in my eyes. We were unable to fathom the suffering that he had been through. The indifference of humans makes the lives of stray dogs much more terrible than they already are.
It was recommended by the physician that we carry out surgery on him and provide injections in order to facilitate his recovery as rapidly as possible. When dogs are in such a state, it is upsetting to see them, but the care that they are receiving is necessary for their recuperation. The majority of the time, people do not know necessary to assist animals that are in need. We shouldn’t cause them any harm if we are unable to assist them. I will be praying that everything goes smoothly during the operation. After what seems like an eternity, the operation is finally successful, and he regains his health and can resume his normal routine and enjoy his life. He was admitted to the hospital by the physician so that he could heal from the trauma they had experienced. After that, he places them in the home of the dog shelter where he currently resides and gets to enjoy his new life.
