Fashion Trend Forecast

Today I am sharing the 10 best wearable winter fashion trends for 2023. And as always, I have teamed up with Nordstrom for this blog. They’re my favourite store, and I, I don’t know. I love finding items for this blog because I write this blog every new season.

They continually update their pieces every new season with just stylish things. This video is only about wearable things. There are so many trends that are just weird, and you guys would never wear them. So I narrow it down to my favourites, and these pieces are easy to incorporate into your existing wardrobe. You can refresh it a little bit.

I have 10 categories, and then I have items to show you that fall under those particular categories.

1. Chunky Boots

So up first, we have chunky boots. This has been around for a while, but it’s just becoming the standard. It would help if you got a good pair of chunky boots.

They are so easy to wear and comfortable. I love them to pieces. I have four that I want to share with you. So this is the same boot. I got this first. This is a Sam Edelman chunky boot. Every time I wear these, people ask me where I got them.

I’ve had these for months. I got them in an ivory colour. I literally find ways to wear these with every outfit. This could be in its own classification since this is a thick white boot. The white boots are so trending right now. They come up high on your ankle.

It’s like a sock boot. The last pair of boots in this particular category are chunky BP boots. They are so comfortable. Quickly became another favourite of mine. They’re currently available in all sizes, but this could go soon. They come in many primary colours, like black, brown, and ivory, like a nudie beige. There are even other colours to choose from. But again very wearable.

You can throw them on with jeans or anything; they look good and are comfortable.

2. Greens

The next category is greens. And this particular colour is next level. Every year there’s a colour that’s in style. This year it is emerald green and sage green. But emerald green is number one. People are finding so many different ways to wear emerald green. Whether it be jewellery, a handbag, or even a top.

I found these Steve Madden heels. It’s like this subtle way to incorporate this colour that can be hard to style. They’re high heels. They’re not for everyone. Then as I mentioned, we have sage green. Which is a more subdued, easier-to-wear colour. More people probably like it. But again, it’s still very, very popular. This is a faux leather top that is just so comfortable. It just feels expensive.

It just feels expensive. It looks expensive, and faux leather’s already on-trend. But it’s also hot. It’s just great for the winter. And I love how it does come with a belt. It’s just a high-quality top.

3. Plaid Skirts

The next category is plaid skirts. This suggestion is not a skirt. But this is a better bang for your buck, and I’ll tell you why. Most importantly, the price tag is marvellous. It’s just like a good brand, and the prices are fantastic. You can wear this in the summer because it’s like a summer dress. But you can wear this in the winter, too. Just throw on a chunky cable knit sweater over the top.

You can do beige. You could also do black and throw on some chunky boots. It’s like instantly a winter outfit. You could also throw on some tights to again winterize it. When summer comes around. If you want you can wear this as a dress. You could wear a t-shirt underneath it. There are so many adaptable things you can do with it.

4. Cropped Sweatshirts

We have cropped sweatshirts. The style right now is a shortened version. It comes in different colours. Again, I’m sticking with the green trend. You can get it in other colours, as I mentioned. I love wearing this with leggings. They’re also from Nordstrom.

They’re Zella. They’re just like the best of the best. I also love styling them with some high-waisted jeans. You can have a little of your stomach showing.

5. Relaxed Flared Jeans

People debate the jean category. Skinny jeans with chunky boots, or wear the same skinny jeans. If you do want to be on trend with jeans. Try the relaxed flares. These are great. These are, again, shocking sticker costs.
They are high-waisted. They’re just comfortable and relaxed. It’s nothing like the ’70s, where you’re like bell bottoms. It’s just like a little flare, so again, straightforward to wear.

6. Oversized Shirts

That’s a fashion trend that’s been here for a while. But it is still going strong. What I’m wearing, it’s like an oversized shirt. This is extra small, but clearly, it’s pretty big. Like, it’s meant to be styled oversize. This is Sherpa material. It’s so warm and cosy. Perfect for winter. Many colour options. You can also wear this unbuttoned jacket.

This is a great option. No matter what age, you can pull it off. But this is something that everyone of all ages would love.

7. Sherpa

The next category is just Sherpa’s details. So this is a jacket. Like, I’m seeing so many jackets with just Sherpa linings. Just like around the collar or inside. This is a nice Sherpa. It’s suede, like faux suede, which is what you want.

It’s very neutral but also packs a punch. It’s noticeable. I don’t know, I love this jacket. And then you can also see it styled with those winter boots. Again, have that Sherpa detailing that I’m talking about.

And then again, as I mentioned with this last piece, with the oversized shirt, again, a Sherpa material, very in.

8. Hot Rollers And Brows

Hot rollers and brows are the following categories. It’s not like true fashion. Like, hot rollers are unbelievably popular. They’re called the Luxe hot rollers. They have come a long way. The last time I had hot rollers was in high school. These are so much better. They’re bigger.

They’re not going to make your hair super, super curly. They make your hair complete. Like, It’s just full and just voluminous. They do have velvet around them. It’s easy to use these and clip your hair. It’s just so much better. I’m telling you, they’ve come such a long way. And then brows.

This product has blown me away. I’m never impressed by brow products, but this Benefit Gimme Brow+ is perfect. It comes in different colours for whatever shade your brows should be. It’s like this tiny brush. It creates hairline strokes instantly with a little bit of colour.

I can literally do each brow in under 10 seconds. I wanted to mention this game-changer.

Sharing is caring.
