Always the beauty chameleon, Angelina Jolie has shocked us once more. Her dramatic hair transformation was so surprising that I had to look twice. I thought I was seeing Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City, not the Oscar winner!

Angelina Jolie Biography

Jolie’s bold new look might be surprising, but it fits perfectly with the theme. In her interview, she shared what inspired her to start the clothing brand. She also talked about how she hopes people will react to it. Her eye-catching hairstyle was a perfect choice for the occasion.

“I wanted to create a space—a real home—for people to be creative and inspired.”This place brings together artists and designers from around the world. It encourages collaboration in design and builds a sense of community,” Jolie explained in the interview.

I’ve always enjoyed making and designing alongside the talented tailors, costume designers, and pattern makers I’ve met throughout my career,” Jolie said. She hopes people see Atelier Jolie as a welcoming space for artists, where everyone is invited to come and create together.

While Angelina Jolie is focused on her latest projects, including her upcoming film Maria, I couldn’t help but notice her hair. According to beauty experts, her big hair is totally on trend right now—classic big hairstyles are making a comeback!

Styles from the ’60s to ’90s are back, sparking the big-hair trend,” said celebrity hairstylist Lacy Redway. Icons like Brigitte Bardot and Donna Summer are major inspirations, especially with the resurgence of disco curls.

The disco-curl trend is bold and exciting for hairstylists,” says Sarah Potempa. “We’re moving away from sleek styles to more extravagant looks.” This shift reflects a “more is more” attitude in beauty, with Jolie’s curls embodying the rise of dark feminine energy.

To get the look, start with a volumizing shampoo and a heat protectant, then use a small curling iron like the Beachwaver S.75. Alternate curl directions for more texture, and let the curls cool completely to set them for lasting results.

After your curls cool, gently brush them out with a wide-tooth comb and add texturizing spray for extra volume. Potempa suggests this gives your hair a more natural look. You can also flip your bangs or change your part for an even bolder disco-curl style!
