2 Terms for Perfect Jeans
Before I jump into the jeans, I want to share a couple of terms you will come across when shopping for denim.
First Term(high rise, Mid-rise, Low rise):
The first one is a mid-rise, high-rise, and low-rise. Now, these mean high waist, mid waist, and low waist. So high-rise jeans are a pair of ones that sit right on your navel or just above it and are region-like from the crotch to the core. It usually measures more than 9 inches, like nine to 11 inches.
Mid-rise is lower than nine inches, crotch to waist level, and sits below the navel. And the low rise is, of course, low waist, and it’ll be like right above your hip bone.
Second term(Dark wash, Light wash, Medium wash):
I usually see the second term as dark, light, and medium. This means the shade of blue that the jeans are. If it is a light wash, it will be light blue. If it is a dark wash, it will be a darker, darker blue, and dark wash jeans are more formal. Okay, Let’s go.
1. Blue Skinny Jeans
My first must-have is skinny blue jeans. Now I don’t mean the uncomfortable slim fit you can’t even like sit down in a good, comfortable fabric. I opt for a mid-upward thrust which is both cropped or ankle. Apart from that, skinny jeans can also tend to make you look taller. So if you are on the shorter side of a height, you can go for this.
2. Black Pair of Jeans
Moving on to the second pair of jeans. The second must-have is a black pair of jeans; now, these can be slight fade. Those can be your boyfriend’s jeans, female friend types of denim, or anything you like. But make sure they’re not distressed.
3. Slouchy Jeans
So slouchy jeans are super comfortable. Now this one is also high rise, so I can wear it with crop tops and shorter tops. Make sure if you’re picking up a pair of slouchy jeans, you have to wear something fitted on top to balance out the silhouette.
4. Distressed Jeans
Moving on to the fourth pair of jeans. Distressed jeans are also a trend that came a long time back but is here to stay 100%. I did mention that a black distress gene is unnecessary, so I’m not including that. But this trend is here to stay and looks pretty cool. Very good for like casual outings.
5. White Jeans
So now the 5th and final pair of jeans I have for you guys is a couple of white jeans. Now the fit of white jeans can make or break it for you. I am giving you some tips, you have to make sure of the stretchability and the transparency, and of course, it should fit you well.
